Play as Appli
Complete the game under the easy difficulty level. 
Then, choose the new "Player" selection that appears 
on the option screen to play as Appli. 

Disable opening,ending, and intermission sequences
Complete the game under the normal difficulty level. 
Then, choose the new "Visual" selection that appears 
on the option screen. 

Configure controls
Complete the game under the hard difficulty level. 
Then, choose the new "Pad-XYZ" selection that appears 
on the option screen. Note: Set the XYZ controls to 
"Command", then press L or R to fire command shots. 
Pressing L fires a small bomb.
